North Woolmarket Student Wins Harrison County Spelling Bee

(January 23, 2024) - Let’s give a big shoutout to 7th Grader Madelyn Blue of North Woolmarket Elementary & Middle School! She won first place in the 2023-24 Harrison County Spelling Bee. Top spellers from schools across the county participated in the event on January 23.
 
Congratulations to the top three spellers:

• 1st Place - Madelyn Blue (North Woolmarket Elementary & Middle School)
• 2nd Place - Cora Schramm (Homeschool)
• 3rd Place - Archer Kraft (St. Vincent)

Madelyn will now represent North Woolmarket and Harrison County in the State Scripps Spelling Bee. The competition will take place at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. Good luck, Madelyn!
