(January 13, 2025) – Congratulations to the following HCSD Novice Teachers of the Month for December!

  • Amanda Windham - D’Iberville Middle
  • Alyssa Ladner - Lizana Elementary
  • Nia Dunn - North Gulfport Elementary & Middle
  • Samantha Waid - River Oaks Elementary
  • Harley Rogers - Saucier Elementary
  • Christen Martin - West Wortham Elementary & Middle
Those teachers' names were entered into a random drawing, and we picked a winner. This week, we will surprise that lucky teacher with a meal, a $50 gift card, balloons, and other goodies.

This year, HCSD partnered with the Huntington Learning Center and Educate & Celebrate of Gulfport to launch this unique program to show our teachers just how much we love and appreciate them. Be sure to tune in as we surprise the drawing winner!
