(January 14, 2025) – Mr. Forrest Marcy was definitely surprised when he walked into a classroom at D’Iberville High this afternoon! He was greeted with cheers, applause, and prizes for winning the Teacher of the Month drawing for December! Our friends from the Huntington Learning Center and Educate & Celebrate of Gulfport presented Mr. Marcy with a steak fajita lunch with chips and queso, gift cards, balloons, and a certificate.

During his career, Mr. Marcy has taught ACT Prep, English, History, and Special Education. He has been a teacher in HCSD for the last 12 years and was recently promoted to the role of Instructional Coach at DHS.
