Surprising August HCSD Teacher of the Month Winner

(September 12, 2025) – Our first teacher surprise of the 2025-26 school year was so much fun! 
 
Today, we popped into Creekbend Elementary and Middle School to announce that Mrs. Elizabeth Cerempei is our August HCSD Teacher of the Month drawing winner! Mrs. Marcy Sherfield from the Huntington Learning Center in Gulfport presented Mrs. Cerempei with a certificate, balloons, a $50 gift card, and goodie bag filled with teacher supplies. Mrs. Cerempei has been teaching at Creekbend for two years, and this is her first year as a 3rd-grade Inclusion Teacher.
